We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use PPG Timeless paint for a complete home makeover. This paint is not only stain-resistant and has smooth coverage but it is also budget-friendly!

This past summer my family and I stayed at a lovely VRBO in 30A in Florida. One of the things that made this home so lovely was the feeling of how bright and inviting it felt. It took me a moment to realize why: the entire home had white walls and ceilings, creating a streamlined, uncluttered look throughout. I fell in love with the idea of an all-white interior home.
Fast-forward to October of this year, and my dream of painting our own home all white has come true.
But wait. I know what you’re thinking. “WHITE walls? With four children?” Crazy, right? With other paints, maybe I would be crazy. But with PPG Timeless, it’s not crazy at all.
PPG has released a newly renovated formula with their PPG Timeless line. The goal is to have a “just painted” look that lasts over time. They accomplish this by making the paint easy to wipe off. When I discovered this, I was immediately in.
Painting your whole home’s interior requires a lot of paint! LOL. But don’t let this intimidate you. I visited my local The Home Depot store, placed an order, and believe it or not, it was delivered it straight to our home, making it so easy.
There are so many things to love about this paint, let me share my top three favorite things about it.
We have four children, meaning the walls of our home can get messy looking. Haha. We had been long overdue to repaint our walls due to the wear and tear of handprints, food stains, and just the everyday marks that were showing up on our walls.
Steering clear of paints that didn’t have the ability to wipe down was a huge component of this makeover. PPG Timeless paint line has wear and stain-resistant finish. This is exactly what we needed! You can simply wipe off any of those handprints and other stains easily with this paint! Huge win, right?! I want our white walls staying fresh and new looking for years to come.
The PPG Timeless paint goes on to walls and ceilings so smoothly. While we did hire professional painters to tackle this complete home paint makeover, I observed this coverage as they were painting.
Our walls had a tan/beige color in our kitchen and almost a blue/green in our dining room prior to this project. After applying one coat, our walls and ceilings were completely transformed to white. It was all so pretty and smooth looking with just that first coat!
This revamped formula is under $40/gallon, what a win! That is a great price point for paint with the fact that it is a smooth, one coat coverage, plus is stain and wear-resistant. Whether you are like me and want to paint your whole home’s interior, or tackle a smaller project, budget-friendly options are always nice.
Tackling this project was going to not necessarily be an easy feat, but to find paint that exceeded our expectations, made for such a positive experience! I am so thankful to know our walls are going to be staying beautiful with this paint line choice.
PPG Timeless has over 1000 colors to choose from, so if you want something bold and daring they have it too.
