Happy Fall, friend! I am so excited to have you stop by and visit our home for this fall farmhouse tour. If you are coming from Sheila over at Maison de Cinq, welcome! Weren’t her fall decorating ideas so beautiful and full inspiration?!
Cozy Fall decor for your mantel
I am thrilled to be a part of the Seasonal Simplicity series hosted by Krista at The Happy Housie going on all week, and encourage you to hop around and enjoy the other tours today and the rest of the week! For my fall home, I enjoyed adding lots of fall colors inside of our home, layers and various textures, and fall scents to make everything feel cozy and welcoming this year. Today, I will be sharing our entryway, living room, and kitchen styled for the fall months ahead.
Fall Entryway Decor
Stumped on how to decorate your entryway and beyond for Fall now that summer is over? Check out these 3 steps on how to easily make this decor transition in your home below. You can also see last year’s fall entryway ideas in my Say Hello To Fall tour HERE.
Consider the season’s colors, textures, and specific items related to that season (i.e., summer and ferns, fall and pumpkins, Christmas and sleds, etc.) when decorating your entryway. Simply take into consideration these things and are ready to go!

Cozy Fall Mantel Decor
I love having our mantel styled for fall; it’s one of the first spaces people see when coming into our home. Farmhouse mantel decor doesn’t have to be complicated!
Just as I shared three steps when transitioning your home from Fall to Summer above, I have 3 easy tips when decorating your mantel from season to season.
Layered wood signs
This is going to be your big item(s) that is the focal point of the entire fireplace. I chose to layer two signs (you can find them HERE), as I love signs that have seasonal phrases and objects on them
Farmhouse Mantel Decor
Some ideas can include:
Drape fall garland across your mantel
While you don’t want it to be cluttered, placing a few items creates continuity to what is on the mantel.
Blanket ladders are a staple in the modern farmhouse decor world and add great vertical height by your fireplace. I love decorating mine seasonally and in this post, I am sharing how I styled my farmhouse blanket ladder for fall.

I’m sharing my top 10 (and maybe even more, haha!) cozy farmhouse fall pillows for your living room and beyond! Come check them out here.
Cozy kitchen ideas for Fall
Our kitchen is the hub of our home. I wanted our family to love being in this space this season. So, I came added five cozy farmhouse fall decor ideas that I am sharing below. You can also go HERE to read all the details of these ideas!
Rolled up kitchen towels in the crock.
A room just won’t feel cozy if it doesn’t function well for your family. My plan was to bring in some items that were both functional, and pretty to look at. Mission accomplished!

Brendt!! I loved touring your home for Fall!! PS I always struggle with my mantel. I think it’s mostly because I don’t like the actual mantel, but when I read your three steps for decorating the mantel I decided my mantel is just fine the way it is!! It follows your steps, so now I’m not touching it until Christmas!!! haha Thanks girl!
Thank you so much, Aliya!
This is exactly what I had hoped would happen; that you can use what you already have and create what you love from there!
YAY, can’t wait to see what you do girl!
xoxo,
Brendt
