I am so excited to say hello to Fall; it is one of my favorite times of the year. In this tour, I will show you several ways to welcome Fall into your home by creating warm and inviting spaces to enjoy these lovely months ahead. If you are looking for decorating ideas, you’ve come to the right place!

Happy Fall, friend! This tour is part of the Brilliant Colors Of Fall Home Tours blog hop. If you are coming from This Is Simplicite home tour here, welcome! Wasn’t her tour splendid? My friends Kelly over at The Tattered Pew and Mansa over at This Is Simplicite have graciously organized this hop. Don’t miss at the end of this post, all the tours that are being shared.  We hope you will walk away inspired to bring Fall into your own home.

Say Hello To Fall Home Tour

Entryway

Are you as excited as I am to be saying hello to Fall!? I’ll have to say, by August 1st, I was more than ready to shift our home decor from summer to Fall.  I just love all the textures, colors, and overall “feel” of Fall home decor.  There is just something about it!

This year I knew that I wanted a mostly neutral look, but also to have splashes of Fall colors.  I always begin with our entryway, dining room, and foyer spaces when the seasons change, so that is where I will be taking you all today.

With this plan in mind, I went to JOANN to pick up some Fall decor to get started! JOANN had a huge selection of Fall florals (wreath, stems, and garlands), Fall pillows, Fall decor like lanterns, glass lit pumpkins and more.  I couldn’t wait to get home and begin putting it all together.

As you enter our home, there is a blue bench that is typically full of cozy pillows. For Fall this year, I found this darling “Hello Fall” pillow and this cozy brown/white plaid pillow.  Both instantly created a Fall look next to the off-white pillows I already had on hand.

Then, I placed several of these Fall stems in a woven seagrass basket to create a full look by the end of the bench.

Above our bench sits a built-in ledge. Framed photos of our children sit atop this ledge for our “everyday” look.  But, it’s also fun to change out artwork seasonally, especially for those pieces that are just leaning against the wall.  I found these fantastic framed leaf prints at JOANN.  I chose two black leaves here and one brown here; I love the way they look here!

To the left of our front doorway is this chest that is ready for Fall too! These amber glass lit pumpkins here, and here were love at first sight, haha! I love amber glass for Fall and cozy string lights; these pumpkins had both.  I added this “Be Grateful” sign to complete a Fall vignette.  Think in terms of odd numbers when grouping items on a tabletop.

For the finishing touches, I added this gorgeous faux garland by wrapping it across a sign I had on hand from last year, and this white berry wreath for added height with the taller ceilings in this space.

I spotted this striking wood bowl at JOANN and knew it would be perfect for holding some pumpkins on our trunk coffee table.  These cute little white pumpkins here have a soft, sweater-like texture making it a great fit against the wood bowl.

Moving into the dining room, this wreath was perfect for signs I had on hand and coordinated with the garland in the entryway.  It is always a good idea to carry your decor across your spaces for continuity!

I love the browns, splashes of rust, and creams in this wreath.  It’s a great nod to neutral but oh so Fall!

The dining room centerpiece was easy to do because I fell in love with these gorgeous metal and leather lanterns! I chose to have two different sizes (larger size here, smaller size here) and use a real candle to had a warm glow to the table.  Placing the lanterns on top of a tray helps ground them.

Then, it’s always fun to add some whimsy, which is what these little pumpkins created in front of the lanterns. The centerpiece is complete!

Well, that is the end of this tour, and I loved sharing these pieces and decor ideas with you for Fall! I couldn’t be happier with how these pieces came together from JOANN.

Now it is time to head on to the next tour, which is my friend Vintage Society Co. here.  You are going to love her tour!
