Happy Halloween entryway
You may remember that about a month ago, I shared how to transition your entryway decor from summer to fall in three easy steps. We’ve enjoyed our fall entryway immensely.
Cheers for Halloween!
Now that October 1st is tomorrow, it was time to make another transition: create our Halloween entryway. I often get asked, when do you decorate for Halloween? As you can see, I typically decorate for fall, then incorporate Halloween decor in early October.
Pumpkins, lights, and Halloween pillows
I of course headed back to JOANN to find Halloween decor. I am not just saying it: they have the BEST selection of seasonal decor you’ll find anywhere! I recommend going as early in the season as you can.

WELCOME Halloween sign in entryway
This wood wall sign with feathers helped set the stage. I loved how it looked and knew it would be perfect to work with for the rest of my picks. A little bit creepy but not too much; perfect!
Raven lumbar pillow with pumpkins.
I spotted this lumbar pillow with the ravens and knew it was the perfect one to go with the feathery wall decor. The vintage look is in line with my everyday farmhouse decor.
I wanted the bench these pillows were going on to be a full look, and so these fringed black pillows are a great compliment to the raven pillow.

Otherwise known as fairy lights, I love these orange rice string lights! Glowing, twinkling lights and candles are just so Halloween, right?!
You can set string lights atop pumpkins as I did here, in floral arrangements, inside lanterns, and on ledges (as you can see too). I added several white pillar candles as well as the cherry on the top.
Candles, pumpkins, and string lights for Halloween
JOANN had a huge selection of pumpkins! I chose several and sharing them below.

Now for the final additions, Halloween objects! Here is what I grabbed:
