With school right around the corner, whether your children are doing virtual/in-school/homeschool (or a mix like mine!), quick and easy breakfast ideas are a great way to help your school day mornings run more smoothly and efficiently. Plus, these ideas are nutritious and delicious, sure to suit all aged children.
I am so excited to share with you some quick and easy school-day breakfast ideas. If you are coming from my friend Tracy over at Our Signature Swag blog, welcome! Didn’t you love her weeknight casserole idea?
As moms and fellow bloggers, we wanted to bring you a blog series that focused on easy back-to-school meal options. Whether you are doing virtual school, home school, or in-person school this year, taking the stress out of meals can make this transition back to school feel so much more manageable.
Our favorite way to make a quick smoothie is using milk, yogurt, frozen fruit, fresh banana, and ice! You can always add extras like protein powder, peanut butter, kale, spinach, and more. But having frozen fruit bags is key to making this a fast breakfast option.
We just use the Betty Crocker muffin mix bags; our favorite is the mixed berry muffin mix. These are so easy, then just add some hardboiled eggs, and applesauce to complete this quick option.
I love making these parfaits, and our kids love them too. Grab a wide-mouthed jar, and add vanilla yogurt about 1/3 of the way up. Then add the frozen berry mix next. Lastly, top off with another scoop of yogurt and sprinkle with some honey almond granola. YUM!
I used to love it when my mom and dad made cinnamon or cheese toast for breakfast. For the cinnamon toast, just mix cinnamon and sugar then sprinkle it on top of buttered bread. Just toast and it’s ready! Microwave some turkey bacon that is already cooked and add some chopped up apples and grapes.
This is so quick and delicious! Simply get an egg white carton at the grocery, a frozen stir fry veggie bag, and Jimmy Dean turkey sausage pre-cooked crumbles. Pour your egg whites into a heated pan, then add veggies and sausage. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top and it is an energy-packed, yummy breakfast option.
I hope you enjoyed these quick school day breakfast ideas posts. Our children love each of these options, and we know you will love them too. Now, I cannot wait for you to head over to my friend Kelly at The Tattered Pew and check out this amazing crockpot meal idea she shared. You will love it!
