I flipped through magazines, read online articles, and hopped around Pinterest, to round up some of my favorite farmhouse home decor trends for Spring 2022 to share with you in this post. 7 Spring 2022 Farmhouse Home Decor Trends

Last year, I shared Spring 2021 home decor trends with you and it was a reader’s favorite. So, I thought I would do the same again this year and walk you through what is trending for Spring 2022.

Who doesn’t like to see what’s the newest thing? Even if you don’t incorporate some of these elements or really love them all, it’s always fun to check out what they are and I’m guessing if you are here today, you agree with this too!

The farmhouse home decor trends I am sharing are specifically the ones that I love for this year, 2022.  They kept coming up over and over again and each time I was drawn to them.

As I mentioned last year, the same is true again this year. Several of these concepts were already part of our everyday home decor, but other things were items I would be adding are new. I like to not buy expensive items when trends can come and go from year to year, but they also need to be lovely and well made. And, I knew just where to go!

#1 Lighter Wood Tones

I fell in love with this gorgeous spring circle wood mirror! It looks perfect in our living room and reflects light from the window nearby which makes the space feel so bright and warm.  This natural/light wood tone is back again this year.

#2 Beige (warmer colors)

For a long time, gray has been the color that has been most popular, but things are shifting this year! And, I am not mad about it because I love warm neutrals like beige.  Check out this amazing beige farmhouse-style stripes pillow I found at JOANN. A bonus that it is 24 x 24!

#3 Patterns

Just like the stripes you saw in the pillow above, stripes here in this scatter rug are representing the popularity of patterns this year. Whether you incorporate stripes like in this cute, tasseled rug or with florals they are all the rage.

#4 Textures

Having various textures again this year is a must, especially with farmhouse decor. I love mixing ceramic pieces like this darling ceramic container, with wood and collected items like books.

#5 Layers

Just like textures are part of farmhouse decor and are trending for 2022, so are layers! Here I layered this cute spring welcome mat on top of the tassel scatter rug. It makes for a welcoming and pretty first impression.

#6 Greenery

Yay, that greenery is a trend again this year! I mean, farmhouse decor is always inclusive of it, but it’s across all design styles for Spring 2022.  I am a faux girl with my greenery so this darling rubber house plant in a pot from JOANN was perfect for this little makeshift side table in our living room.

#7 Round Shaped Items

The mirror I first shared with round, and even this cute mini olive and leaft wreath is rocking the round shape that is on-trend for 2022. You can use rounded shapes from the arms of your furniture to pillows and everything in between.
