Ingredients for the best chili recipe:
2 lbs ground chuck beef
1 lb turkey sausage, sliced (optional)
1 large white onion, chopped
1 large can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 large can (27 oz) Bush’s Best pinto chili beans in mild sauce
Salt, pepper, vegetable oil
Hot sauce (optional)
Toppings for the best chili recipe:
Sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions
Directions for the best chili recipe:
Brown ground chuck in vegetable oil (2-3 Tbsp) in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions, salt, pepper, and turkey sausage (optional) as chuck browns. Stir frequently to keep from sticking.
Drain oil from mixture.
Over medium-low heat, add crushed tomatoes to the meat mixture and low simmer for 5-8 minutes. Add pinto chili beans and continue simmering for 10-15 minutes.
Serve with toppings of sour cream, cheese, green onions. Add hot sauce if desired.

Venison Delight: Cozy Crock Pot Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
A couple of pounds of venison
1 can red kidney beans with juice (full size)
1 can fire-roasted diced tomatoes (small)
1 can chipotle peppers with juice (small, whole)
1 whole onion
1 green pepper
1 red/orange pepper
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
Olive oil
Red wine vinegar
Salt, black pepper, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Brown venison, then move to the crock pot.
Dice and sauté onion, green, and red/orange peppers until translucent. Add minced garlic and transfer to the crock pot.
Combine venison, sautéed veggies, red kidney beans, fire-roasted diced tomatoes, and diced chipotle peppers in the crock pot.
Optionally add water for more liquid. Mix well.
Add red wine vinegar for some zest.
Season to taste with salt, chili powder (3-4 tbsp each), black pepper, garlic powder, cumin (1-2 tbsp each), onion powder, white pepper (around 1 tbsp), and cayenne pepper (2-3 shakes).
