I am overjoyed to share my 31-day devotional with all of you, Listen Closer: Believing God’s Truth Over the World’s Lies! This book has been such a labor of love, more than a year in the making. If you’ve been following along, you’ve probably noticed a few little hints sprinkled in over time.

From weekends tucked away writing to trips to Nashville to record the audiobook, every step has been a journey I know God placed on my heart and faithfully guided me through. Writing my very first book has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, and I’m so excited for you to finally hold it in your hands.

The Inspiration

The inspiration for this book began in conversations with other women, conversations where I kept hearing the same longing for faith resources created with women in mind. As I prayed over those needs, God began to weave together my love for both my in-person and online community with my background as a therapist trained in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy).

The beauty of the CBT model is that it helps us see how shifting our thoughts can transform our actions, and in turn, the way we feel. This devotional leans into that truth, shining a light on how easily we as women can internalize the lies the world throws at us, lies that fuel worry, doubt, and chaos, and instead points us back to God’s promises.

When we begin replacing those lies with God’s truth, our perspective changes. Hope is restored, and we step into a deeper sense of purpose.

So who is this devotional written for? Honestly, it’s for women of all ages who longs to tune out the noise of the world and draw nearer to God’s voice. To celebrate the launch of this book, I had the sweetest evening with friends who have been such a big part of my journey. We gathered at Tre Luna, our favorite spot, and shared dinner, laughter, and stories that reminded me just how blessed I am to have this circle of support.
