This post got a little 2025 refresh, complete with the worship songs we’ve been loving, a sweet concert experience, and a few road trip favorites I think you’ll really enjoy. Keep scrolling and let your heart be lifted.
Let’s face it, 2020 has not been the easiest year for any of us. It is easy to get discouraged with all the changes and unpredictability around us. The best news is that we can have hope that the Lord is with us through and through.
He is our constant hope! One of my favorite ways to encounter His truths is by listening to praise and worship music.

I hope you will take the time to listen and find a great sense of hope in each of these praise and worship songs. My favorite time to listen to them is in the early mornings when I am exercising (several of these photos were taken during my morning exercise today). Often, I can’t help but sing aloud!
I recently came back to this blog post and wanted to add a quick update! Worship music continues to be such a big part of my life, and it’s something I turn to often. Whether I’m working at my desk, out on a walk, or driving around town ( or out of town). These songs have a way of grounding me and lifting my spirit, no matter what the day holds.
My husband and I recently went to a John Mark McMillan concert, and we were both so moved by the experience, especially the lyrics from his newest album, Cosmic Supreme. We’ve always loved his worship music, but this new album has been on repeat ever since.
Our favorites from Cosmic Supreme that I’d definitely add to your playlist are “And It Rages” and “Ancient Love.” The words are powerful and deeply meaningful. But seriously, every song on the album is such a blessing.
Two other worship songs we’ve been loving lately are “The Blood” (Live) by Bethel Music and “Made for More” (Live) by Josh Baldwin. So good!

Having worship music playing quietly in the background helps me stay focused and centered. It turns even the busiest workdays into something more peaceful and intentional.

There’s something about pairing worship music with fresh air that feels like therapy for the soul. It’s my favorite way to clear my mind and reconnect with God.

Some of my sweetest worship moments happen behind the wheel, just me, the music, and time to reflect. Whether it’s a quick drive across town or a long road trip with my family, worship music always brings a sense of peace. Sometimes we sing along, other times we sit in silence, but either way, it’s such a meaningful part of the journey.
And since the kids are out of school and so many of us are in vacation mode, I thought it’d be fun to round up a few of my favorite road trip must-haves. From practical essentials to faith-filled travel companions and a styled outfit that’s cute and comfy, here’s everything I love bringing along for the ride.

[…] Here are 20 amazing worship songs to give you hope. […]
Right now I’m loving “Glorious Day”. When my grandchildren heard it they went wild over it. (I have 8 of them). If you listen to that song you just can’t be in a bad mood!
My favorite now is Faithful Now by Vertical Worship…I constantly have praise worship playing when I’m home. It keeps the devil away and I feel closer to the Lord as “He inhabits the praise of His people”
Thanks for sharing all of these in your post.
Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance”
between usability and appearance. I must say you’ve done a
very good job with this. In addition, the blog loads super quick for me on Firefox.
Superb Blog!
That is a really good tip particularly to those fresh
to the blogosphere. Simple but very precise information… Thank you for sharing this one.
A must read post!
Beautiful list of exactly what God wants us to hear! Thank you for the blessing!

I am the same Brendt, worship music gives me so much hope as I remember what The Lord has done and his promises! Great list!
I love all of these songs too! However, I’m not familiar with a couple of the new ones you mentioned. I’m pulling them up now to listen. Thanks for sharing.
