If you are coming from my friend Kim over at Cottage in the Mitten, welcome! Wasn’t all of her fall home tour indeed a celebration of the changing seasons? I am thrilled about the “A Bloggers Fall Home Tour 2023” series hosted by dear friend Kelly at The Tattered Pew.
Now, let’s begin!
As we step into my home, I’m thrilled to share some autumnal inspiration that I hope will encourage your own creativity and fill your home with the cozy vibes we all crave this time of year. Whether you’re a seasoned decorator or simply busy and on a budget, there’s something here for everyone.
I’ve always believed that the heart of any home in the fall is the living room. This year, I’ve opted for a richer color palette of warm oranges and deep browns, accentuated by chunky knit throws and textured furniture pieces like our coffee table.
A focal space in the living room to create that cozy atmosphere? Your fireplace and mantel! I enjoyed decorating it this year with plush pumpkins, garland, and mercury pumpkins. Don’t forget to add a wicker basket with more pillows and a blanket.
Take a closer look at my mantel in this video HERE.
I also placed this lovely “Pressed Wheat” wooden sign (use code SHEGAVEITAGO for a discount) above our cabinet to draw the eye up and completed the pairing with oversized glass jugs.

Your entryway sets the tone for your home, and this fall, I’ve gone for a rustic, welcoming vibe.
A DIY batten and board wall (full tutorial HERE) sets the backdrop for the bench area. I want it to be a space where guests can drop their keys or add extra seating when we have company.
More texture is added with seagrass wall baskets, a rust orange blanket, and stripe pillows. The vintage chalk-painted dresser holds a large vase with fall stems, a hurricane with a candle, and a bowl full of pumpkins.
I love how the gold mirror offers yet another texture, creating a “collected” look that is perfect for fall. You could also use the bowl as a catch-all for keys and bags.

Friends and family gathered in the dining room and wanted to keep it simple yet charming. All these items are easily sourced from Walmart, Target, and Amazon without breaking the bank. I love this new bowl from Target that is holding the wood beads.
Our dining table holds a table runner and a vase full of fall stems. The near console table was an excellent find from a while back at a vintage market. I decorated it with a mix of textures, including glass, favorite coffee table books, vases (and the large one here), stems, and candlesticks.
Check out this video I shared for a more fully styled fall-decorated table.
Lastly, this little corner in our dining room features my favorite faux olive tree placed inside this wood planter.

I know that creating a cozy fall home can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you’re short on time. But I hope you walk away from this tour like I’ve got you covered! You don’t need to spend a fortune to make your home feel like a warm autumn hug, right?!
