The Effortless Centerpiece: Let’s start with the centerpiece. I chose a rustic wooden tray from JOANN because it’s perfect for holding everything together. In the center, I placed a bright orange pumpkin decorated with fall flowers. It looks so festive against the wood.

Then, I put two pillar candles next to the pumpkin.

Effortless Place Settings: To give your place settings a fall touch, lay some faux sunflowers on the plates and napkins. It’s simple, but it’ll make your guests feel special, and you can use these faux flowers again and again.

Effortless Decor: Don’t forget about your surroundings! I hung two beautiful fall wreaths from JOANN on our barn doors behind my table—one on each door. They instantly make the space look festive, and you can keep using them year after year.

When the guests arrive, light those pillar candles in the centerpiece. The flickering glow adds a cozy touch to your Thanksgiving dinner, and it’s an excellent way to set the mood for gratitude.

The best part? I pulled this whole thing together in just 25 minutes.

Now that the table is set, here are some super simple tips to make your Thanksgiving meal even more special:

  1. Menu Magic: Plan a menu that features your family’s favorite dishes. Whether it’s your Mother-in-law’s famous stuffing or a special pumpkin pie, those dishes are what make Thanksgiving unique. Find my curated kitchen essentials collection here.
  2. Gratitude Game: Have your guests share what they’re thankful for. You can keep a jar of gratitude prompts on the table and ask each guest to pick one and share it during the meal.
  3. Personalized Place Cards: Get creative and make personalized place cards for each guest. Just use the flower to clip the card to each setting. It’s a sweet touch that makes everyone feel welcome and valued. I love these here!
