For many years our family gathered at my parent’s cabin for Thanksgiving. We shared many meals, memories, and time together there that we will always cherish. The tradition was that my parents provided the meat for the meal (turkey and ham), while the rest of us brought appetizers, sides, and desserts (though my sweet mom would still manage to provide many of these too in her generous spirit!). It was always such a happy time.

One of my favorite foods that was brought year to year was my older sister’s pumpkin dip! It was such a delicious appetizer for Thanksgiving day, tasty but light enough to keep you ready for the main meal. She often times would cut up various kinds of apples to dip, as well as, crackers.

With that being said, I wanted to share with you all her recipe for easy pumpkin dip! It is a tasty fall treat that you and your family/friends will enjoy for years to come. Fun serving tip? Hollow out the inside of a real pumpkin and place the dip inside! It’s the perfect serving “piece” for this dip! Plus, I have joined up with several blogger friends to share with y’all tons of tasty fall recipes you will want to try too . Check them out at the end of this post. Let’s get started!

And it’s that easy! I served mine with various apples (sliced), ginger snaps, and cinnamon tortilla chips! My kiddos voted and what their favorite was, and the cinnamon tortilla chips were the ones they liked most. I enjoyed the apples, while my husband like the “kick” ginger snaps offered. I hope you will enjoy this recipe as much as we have! Now check out all the delicious fall recipes below.
