Chocolate Chip and M&M Christmas Cookies Recipe

During this festive season of Christmas, I wanted to surprise our children and have some homemade cookies for them to enjoy when they got home from school.

Christmas cookies

They love chocolate and what is more fun than the Christmas M & Ms? For even more chocolatey goodness, I wanted to add some chocolate chips.

The secret to making these m&m Christmas cookies so easy? Use premade sugar cookie dough that you can find in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.

Directions for chocolate chip and m&m Christmas cookies

  1. Mix the three ingredients in a bowl until they are well-blended.
  2. Roll the dough into golf-sized balls.
  3. Place on a cookie sheet and follow the baking directions from the store-bought dough.  I baked my cookies at 350 for 10 minutes.
