LEGO DOTS Review: Encouraging your Child’s Creativity through Engaging Play Time

LEGO® sets have long been a beloved item in our home. From the time our girls were little and now our son, Paul, we’ve enjoyed the creative play that building with LEGO® product offers.

And I am thrilled to share with you a new spin on this classic toy, and they are called LEGO® DOTS. 

The ones you see here are perfect for girls 6-12, so I asked my sweet neighbor to come and join me to see what she would enjoy making with these.

When I asked her what her favorite item was that she made, she answered, “Bracelets.” It was so cute to watch how she chose certain tiles to go on various family member bracelets to create ones they’d love to wear.

The Lots of DOTS product (set #41935) was fun to pour into color-coded bowls and fill in a cube from a kit that I had on hand. She searched to find all the circular-shaped tiles and then fill in the various sides all one color.

The options are endless when it comes to children being able to express themselves with these LEGO® DOTS. What an awesome gift they would make for a birthday, Christmas, or just a weekend activity.
