Merry Christmas friend, and welcome to the Christmas Treat Exchange blog hop! If you are coming from my friend Crissy of First Day Of Home, thanks so much for stopping by. Didn’t her Pecan Sandies recipe sound amazing?
This Christmas Treat Exchange series is hosted by my dear friends Aliya of Open Doors Open Hearts and Jen of Midwest Life And Style. There are 10 total recipes; all of them are shared at the end of this post.
Now let’s get started!
During this festive season of Christmas, I wanted to surprise our children and have some homemade cookies for them to enjoy when they got home from school.
They love chocolate and what is more fun than the Christmas M & Ms? For even more chocolatey goodness, I wanted to add some chocolate chips.
The secret to making these m&m Christmas cookies so easy? Use premade sugar cookie dough that you can find in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.
That is it! I told you it was easy as 1-2-3. I know your kiddos will enjoy them, and anyone else you are looking to treat this Christmas season.
Don’t miss some other recipes I’ve shared for the holiday season below:
That wraps up my Christmas recipe. Thank you so much for stopping by and now you will not want to miss my friend Jordan of A Blue Nest. She is sharing a graham cracker praline recipe you will love.

Brendt!! I love these cookies and you’re 100% right! My girls would LOVE them!! I’m not sure why I put all this pressure on myself every year to make homemade dough for sugar cookies, but I’m not sure that’s going to happen this year. Break and bake is genius!!! XoXo
Break and bake is right, girl! I am all about easing the process and hope you’ll enjoy it too now, haha!
So thankful for all the hard work you put into making this blog hop happen.
Grateful for you, Aliya!
Warmest,
Brendt
Few things beat a good chocolate chip cookies, especially ones with m&m’s! These remind me so much of my childhood and now I Iove to make these with Charlie. Love your easy but timeless recipe. Merry Christmas!
So kind, Amanda! They remind me of my childhood too.
I am so glad you can enjoy them with Charlie now!
