Layering doormats is so fun, and I have found several options that you can mix and match for this spring and summer. I have enjoyed layering doormats at our front door for a while now. And, with spring in the air and summer around the corner, it was the perfect time to try out some new layered looks. I found all of these doormats and scatter rugs at Target and will be sharing the links. Don’t miss at the end of this post, several of my blogger friends are sharing their spring front door/porches too!

Let’s first start with the bottom layer rugs. There are no rules about mixing and matching doormats, but you do, of course, want the bottom mat to be larger than the top one. I am sharing four accent or scatter rugs that work well as the bottom layer below.

This first look is the one I have had at our front door for a while now. It is a classic black and white look, and I do love how streamlined it looks!

This second look definitely has a more spring vibe to it. The lighter bottom mat brightens up the doorway area!

I just love the words on this doormat! And, navy has been a great color this year in home decor, so I am really enjoying having it at our front door with this newly released scatter rug. And, who doesn’t love plaid?!

This last option I am sharing is another great spring/summer look. It is so cute and happy!
