Happy Saturday (or whatever day you may land here!), friend! It is a cool and crisp morning here in Birmingham, Alabama. We are gearing up my Paul’s last football game of the season, it’s been really fun watching him play this season.
I continue to be so grateful for the incredible community here on my blog and other social media platforms surrounding my recent back surgery. You have been so kind to pray for my recovery and I am getting better each day still!
I always tell my mom she is the original Pinterest haha! Growing up and now with our children, she has been able to see and then create games, crafts, art projects, recipes, and more.
Check out this cute idea for a Halloween tic-tac-toe idea. For the ghosts, she used spools, coffee filters, and googly eyes. For the spiders, pipe cleaners, and assorted-sized felt balls. Then, made the board out of memory foam and poster board. We’ve had the best time playing it.
One of my favorite kinds of clothing is athletic/loungewear…can I get a, Yes!!
I’ve worn it a lot through this recovery time from surgery and of course when exercising. These three coordinating pieces are all on sale for less than the cost of just one of the pieces right now! Hi-Rise leggings, Sports Bra, and Round Neck Top! YAY (and they ship fast too!).
Andy and I recorded a new podcast episode where we are asking the question, “What makes your family, well, your family”?
What are the four or five words you’d use to describe your family? Better yet, if you asked your children or spouse to describe your family, how would you feel about their answers? This is a fun little exercise that can reaffirm the things you love about your family or shine a light on some changes you may need to make. LISTEN to this episode now!
Thanks so much for having us as your guest hosts this week. We’re so honored!
Brendt I always love catching up on your posts! And I also ha e to add that I am loving your new hair cut and pictures! Beautiful as always. Glad to hear you are healing…have a wonderful week!
