I have had the privilege of getting to know this lovely lady through Instagram. For this week’s “Friday Favorite” blogger (check out the last couple of week’s “Friday Favorite” here and here), I am thrilled to share her mission with you. Meet Kelly over at City Girl Meets Farm Boy. Come along as I talk about how Kelly is a DIY connoisseur; she shares her value of hard work with all that encounter her. Plus she has such a kind heart and is always encouraging those she meets.
Kelly does an amazing job at providing step-by-step instructions on how she designs areas of her home. For her fall mantel, she includes each step along the way on how she created this gorgeous mantel vignette. Her tips are so helpful, and even include how to create pretty tablescapes with various florals and natural elements like the one share below.
This probably gets me the most excited, because she creates DIYs that those of us who are not tool savvy can create, like this adorable “no drill” wall vase. How cute is this? And the adorable cake stand only required three items to create; I can get on board for that! Her DIYs are in line with farmhouse style which is my favorite look.
So, I told you she was a boss at doing DIYs, and although these may get passed along to my husband to make, I’m so inspired to try them out because of how perfectly chic and rustic they are. From these hanging wall planters to the pallet fence, she never leaves you without fully informing you of every step. And, this may be my favorite part of her blog, she adds videos to keep it interesting and inspiring.
Kelly is the real deal, y’all! She and her family value hard work, and share the fruits of their labor with others; like you and me through her blog. It is a blessing to know this kind-hearted woman. I am grateful that the Lord allowed our paths to cross and now yours have too! Head over to check out her full blog, City Girl Meets Farm Boy.
