Getting your kids in the kitchen is a great way to have them get creative, especially with these Halloween Cheesecake treats. This simple recipe allows any aged kid to participate and enjoy their yummy Halloween treat afterward.
Halloween is quickly approaching and now is the time to enjoy making some fun Halloween treats. This kid-friendly idea is part of a blog hop where several of my blogger friends are also sharing their festive Halloween recipes. Thank you to Krista over at The Happy Housie for hosting.
You possibly have most of these ingredients already on hand. We just needed to grab the Halloween candy that our kiddos used to decorate the mini cheescakes with. Below is the ingredient list!
Simply break apart the graham crackers into the square to create you jack o’ lantern cheesecake crust. Then, grab a mixing bowl and mix together cream cheese and powdered sugar. I kept adding the powdered sugar until it tasted sweet enough for our liking!
Then add several drops of orange food coloring. Once that is mixed together well, spread on top of the graham cracker. Next is the fun part! Have candies divided into bowls for easy grabbing.
As you can see, some preferred more of pattern design, while my other ones made varying Jack O’ Lantern faces. Each one unique to their personalities and all of them tasted yummy. Easy, right?! I hope you’ll try your hand at this activity with your children. Everyone is sure to enjoy these Halloween cheesecake treats.
