This fabulous farmhouse decor idea for the spring includes a collection crocks and faux florals. When creating spring vignettes in your home it doesn’t have to be complicated to be pretty. The key to this farmhouse decor idea is utilizing a collection or several pieces that are the same shape, group them together and add splashes of color with faux flowers.
I love spring and farmhouse style decor so this idea was a natural fit for our home. You can utilize these tips to fit your style and space, even if it is outside of the farmhouse look. I am going to show you! First of all, It is soothing to our eyes to look at collections, especially in odd sets. I had this collection of farmhouse crocks and for the most part, I keep them here on the chest by our front door entryway area. And, I love using them in various way but the easiest and probably my favorite way is with faux florals in them.
They sit in between these two matching lamps and this sign is the backdrop. This layered look is definitely inline with the farmhouse style. As you can see in this zoomed-out view, some lightweight pillows (vintage pillow here and white cotton chenille pillow found here) and blanket reflect spring too.
I simply took some faux spring stems I had on hand and folded them at the bottom to fit the size of the crocks. They don’t have to be arranged perfectly, this idea has a casual feel. I did add a candle to allow the smell of spring to be all around. These candles are my favorite here!
This idea is easy, isn’t it?! Here is some other collection ideas you may have where you can apply this same formula to create lovely spring spaces in our home.
Architectural pieces (like corbels)
Terra cotta pots
This view is walking out of our front door and this wreath brings the color across the room to keep continuity! What do you think? Isn’t it easy?!
