2022 Christmas Kitchen

 

Welcome to our cozy kitchen, all decorated for the holidays.

A simple tray filled with bottle brush trees sits on our kitchen island.  Grouping a collection is a great tabletop idea year-round, but especially at Christmas.

Think about what collections you may have on hand and display them in a tray or bowl to get a similar and collected look as I’ve done here.

Draping a garland around your kitchen window gives it a nice frame and, of course, a festive feel.

We gave our kitchen a facelift a couple of years ago and chose a brass faucet for our kitchen sink! I loved its look. You can find my exact one here.

Mixing metals and textures (brass, wood, greenery)  is always a good idea in your home.

 

When I first saw this gingerbread house, I knew it needed a special place in our home. Why? First of all, it’s beautiful, and secondly, every Christmas, I have decorated gingerbread houses since I was a little girl.

And now, my husband and I love hosting a DIY cardboard gingerbread house party each year, where we build our houses and decorate them with (lots) of candy.

Simply cozy is the theme of our Christmas bedroom.  I always recommend having a neutral bedding “base” (quilt, bed skirt, sheets) because it makes it easy and budget-friendly to update its look seasonally!
