Christmas Entryway 2022

Deer are stately pieces, and I love how they are perfect on top of tables in your entryway, by the fireplace, and in kitchen areas.

You can shop my checkmate deer here, and again, use code MCJOY for a discount.

Also, add some lovely-smelling Christmas fragrances with my favorite candles here.

Dig Deeper: Create a festive and lovely look for family and friends as they enter your home this 2022 holiday season. These nine best Christmas entryway decor ideas include front porches, front doors, and foyer areas.

Christmas Home Tours Of Years Past

Protip: Shop all my favorite outdoor and indoor Christmas decorations on my Amazon storefront here. Also, I’ve included several gift guides for you to check out.

Entryway bench with pillows and blanket.

Draping a chunky blanket atop a sherpa bench creates a cozy texture for your entryway. Plus, having a bench close to your living room is perfect for extra seating when guests come to your home this holiday season.

MKC Santa planter with an evergreen plant.

You may notice the signs like this “O Come All Ye Faithful” sign to ring in the true meaning of Christmas.

We also enjoy placing nativity sets around our home. Both of these are great ways to add the message of Christ’s birth to your home too.  Use code SHEGAVEITAGO for 15% off this beautiful Emmanuel sign and the music sheet sign (in the photo above) HERE.

Santa planter!

And a nod to Christmas classics is the happy Santa planter. I simply placed a faux evergreen plant inside, but you can also fill it with ornaments.

You can shop this cute Santa planter here and use code MCJOY for 20% off.

Christmas Living Room

You may have the lights, ribbons, ornaments, and tree. But, year to year, you try to pull it all together and feel that your tree just ends up looking ordinary.

If you are like me, I’d much rather it look extraordinary! This 5-step process for decorating the perfect Christmas tree will yield those extraordinary results!

Our living room modern farmhouse Christmas tree 2022

Protip: Free Christmas Tree Decorating E-Book

Protip: Use floral wire to attach your ornaments close to the branch and secure them in place.

Christmas sofa and cabinet in the living room.

Easy coffee table decor for the holidays? Grab a seagrass basket to hold some small trees, books, and flameless flickering candles. The flat basket will nicely contain decorative items and add great texture.

Another sign that I love is this new one, “Let Your Heart Be Light,” that is hanging above our living room cabinet. Hanging artwork above furniture looks amazing and gives the visual aesthetic of taller ceilings too.

Use code SHEGAVEITAGO for a discount on this sign.

Christmas Mantel and Fireplace

“The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Saint Nick would soon be here…” stockings are a timeless Christmas mantel decor item, aren’t they?

The mantel and fireplace are some of the most beloved places to decorate for Christmas.

Whether you are sitting by a warm fire or enjoying a cup of a warm coffee, gazing at these holiday-infused spaces just feels warm and cozy for the holiday season.

I share with you five Christmas mantel decor items and fireplace surroundings ideas for even more inspiration here.

Full Christmas living room view!

It’s always a lovely idea to incorporate greenery into your Christmas mantel decor, right?! But what you choose to use is up to you! Faux or real?

Simple, draped garland or thick strands of garland with oversized jingle bells tied to them is exactly what I did this year.

You can shop our living room by tapping on the images below:

As we are moving from my Christmas living room to the dining room, you can also check out several of these items on my recorded Amazon Live Streams here. Make sure to follow me as I will continue sharing tons more amazing ideas this holiday season with my live-stream audience.

Christmas Dining Room

Our dining room table is simple yet festive this year! A fun mix of greenery, ambiance lighting, and a lovely table setting was fun to create. Here are the layers I used on my table:

      • Table runner
      • Garland
      • Set of 3 hurricane vases
      • Flameless flickering candles

I fell in love with this black and white dot stoneware 12-piece set you can shop HERE. The silverware is a family setting that I have loved over the years.

Protip: Still feeling stumped on what you may have sitting around the home for your table? Just add candles and more candles to a table. It just makes it feel magical!

Our dining room chairs are all dressed up with small wreaths tied onto them by looping a wire ribbon through the back of each.

We love hosting a cardboard gingerbread house party each year, where we build our houses and decorate them with (lots) of candy. Access our family’s gingerbread house template HERE, and enjoy this fun family tradition during the holidays.

You can shop my dining room below:

Our second tree is here in our dining room! I went with a modern farmhouse look for this tree.

Protip: Looking for a free tree skirt idea? Take a blanket or quilt and wrap it around the base of your tree. And for the smaller trees, place them inside a basket for some great texture, as I did in our dining room this year.

I hope you enjoyed this Christmas home tour. I loved having you stop by. Now, I cannot wait for you to check out my friend Leen’s tour, which uses the colors of nature. You are going to love it!
