Christmas Home Decor: Kitchen

Step into our kitchen, where this year I wanted to continue that bright but classic Christmas look again. The everyday black and white color scheme provides a perfect canvas for effortless touches of red and greenery.

The Mackenzie Childs timeless pieces add that touch of festive and sophistication – I love using these year afer year.

Shop the look here.

Christmas mugs are perfect for cozy gatherings and early mornings in December (shop my Christmas mugs here).

Protip: Swap out your regular mugs for festive ones to instantly sprinkle holiday cheer into your daily routine!

Don’t forget your walls! I added the cute Christmas artwork, “Hot Cocoa and Snuggles” (use code SHEGAVEITAGO for a discount) behind the stove, and then greenery with wreaths and garland around the sink area.

Shop the look here.

Protip: Candles for the Win! Light up any room with candles – bonus if they smell like sugar cookies which is instantly cozy vibes. This is the BEST sugar cookie candle!

We love having music play in the mornings and evenings. The Echo Show has been the best solution to having not just music at your fingertips but also recipes, news updates, and Christmas shopping lists.

Protip: Create a holiday playlist with your family to have your favorite tunes on repeat. It’s the soundtrack to your festive home.

You can access our playlist HERE.

I love adding mini wreaths to the back of our chairs seasonally, and for Christmas, simple faux evergreen ones with red velvet ribbon do the trick.

Christmas Home Decor: Bedroom

Now, let’s move into our bedroom. I love creating a fluffy bed anytime of year, but it’s always the best when it’s cold outside. You will see that it is more neutral than the other spaces of our Christmas home for a peaceful and cozy retreat.

I simply swapped out our front decorative pillows and blanket at the end of our bed to create this holiday bedding look. The white quilt set remains the same throughout the year.

Shop our holiday + everyday bedding HERE.

And, speaking of fluffy beds, I have a gift for you…Head HERE to download my FREE guide on how to make your bed look fluffy in 5 easy steps with images and links.

Protip: Layering with moderate holiday bedding is plenty to create a festive vibe without going overboard.

While I love the look of Christmas themed bedding, you can still have taht look with just swapping out pillows, blankets, and artwork.

Speaking of artwork, above the bed hangs a new piece from Lindsay Letters. I love that it works perfect as Christmas home decor and will also be perfect throughout winter.

Go HERE and use code SHEGAVEITAGO for a discount on it!

I just added a simply faux cedar wreath with some bells to our mirror with a command hook. And, of course, a Christmas candle, with some neutral, wooden trees and more greenery for the top of the dresser.

Protip: Mixing materials gives extra warmth to your spaces when decorating with a more neutral color palette.

Bonus Christmas Home Decor Pro Tips – Because More Tips, More Cheer:

  • Twinkle All the Way: Deck the halls with as many twinkle lights as you can find. Trust me; they are a major cozy factor!
