This easy summer mantel styling with florals was so much fun to do. Working with faux flowers and other greenery brought this space to life and added splashes of summer color to our living room. The artwork is also a nod to the floral theme, with the lovely wooden fern print and the “Grow Love At Home” sign. I share three steps on how to easily style your mantel for summer.
The first thing I did was choose pieces to anchor the mantel design. These pieces included this amazing Spring Greenery Wreath with Berries from JOANN. It is large (26”) and full of floral various floral layers. Below it sits this Spring Wall Decor Green Ferns on White decor piece that I leaned against the wall.
I love decor that is symmetrical but has plenty of textures and layers built in. For this mantel, I used vessels I already had on hand (antique crocks) and placed these gorgeous Hydrangea & Bright Pink Rose Bouquet Arrangements inside them. I also mixed in wood with these modern farmhouse Wooden Pillar Candleholder and pillar candles from JOANN.
Along the length of the mantel, I also added a garland. This JOANN garland here is lovely and features peonies! It was the icing on the cake to the mantel.
For the summer months, you do not want to add heavy fabrics; a lighter look is better for this time of year. When I first saw this JOANN Woven 17″ Round Basket Textured Diamond, I knew it was going to make its way into our home. It is a large, budget-friendly option and the perfect look for summer months. I simply added a lightweight pillow I had on hand and it was done!
This space adjoins to our mantel and fireplace area, so I couldn’t help but add more of these gorgeous bouquets in an oversized crock on top of this chippy table. I love how bright they made this little space here.
And, a floral theme can also come in the form of words! This “Grow Love At Home” wall decor is the perfect example. I am in love with this farmhouse style sign. It layered perfectly on top of the mirror and has a clean, modern feel with it’s black and white + natural wood colors.
