I am so excited that you stopped by to take a tour of our neutral and cozy Christmas bedroom. This bedroom has a splash of navy, snuggly textures, and holiday greenery.

This year I wanted to have a bedroom decorated with neutral colors (for the most part!) to enjoy through the Christmas season. Last year I enjoyed traditional Christmas colors in our room (you can take a tour of it HERE) but was ready to try something new and different this year.

My goal was to find some bedding, a few decor pieces, and greenery; I found everything at JOANN. JOANN released a line of holiday bedding that is to die for. Not only is it budget-friendly, but so soft and lovely. I then headed home, excited about putting it all together.

Neutral And Cozy Christmas Bedroom Tour

Cozy Christmas Bedding

Navy quilt tri-folded with a comforter.

Having a neutral “base” bedding like our white quilt makes it easy to change out seasonally.  To achieve this look at the base of your bed, take all of your pillows off of your bed (leaving on my white quilt), and lay down the quilt (navy velour one here) flat.  Then, lay your comforter on top of it, lining up the edges.  Next, tri-fold it and lay across the bed at the foot end.

Cable-knit pillows and snowflake pillows

For my pillows, I lay my sleeping pillows flat, then add the shams that coordinate with the white quilt.  Next, I add Euro pillows (general rule: for a king-size bed, use three, and for a queen-size bed, use two, and anything smaller, use one).  JOANN had the cutest decorative pillows to add for Christmas. These cable knit pillows are so cozy, and the little snowflake pillow (here) tied it all together.

Faux fur blanket

We love having plenty of blankets to stay warm or for our kiddos to enjoy when they are watching TV with us. JOANN had this gorgeous and oh so soft faux fur blanket.  I draped the blanket on top of my tri-folded comforter, and you can also lay on a bench or chair in your room.

Neutral Christmas Trees

Whimsical Christmas trees on the dresser

And, on our dresser, I added these cute little trees! I love how whimsical they are.  JOANN has them here. Christmas trees come in all shapes and sizes, and adding some fun touches to your bedroom adds interest.

Holiday Greenery

Lastly, above our signs, I added a simple wreath.  JOANN had the exact look I was going for; wispy and very real looking! You can find the wreath here. Adding wreaths or garland to your bedroom creates that extra cozy feeling.

We love spending time in our room, especially as the days get shorter, drinking coffee in the mornings, and reading or watching our favorite TV shows at night.  This neutral Christmas bedroom came together to create a cozy oasis for us to enjoy.
