Do you know when you find something that you can never have enough of haha?! Well, that’s how I feel about command hooks.
Command hooks when decorating for the holidays take my love of them to the next level. As you can see, they are perfect for hanging garlands, wreaths, and even wall decor. Gone are the days of leaving nail marks on your mantel or on your wall; these eliminate that problem and are so simple to use.
I used these hooks for hanging garland on my mantel (garland here) and these hooks for the wreath (my gorgeous 24″ wreath here) on my front door and others around my home.
Further, I hung these cute stockings (here and here) on top of the garland hook for even greater simplification.
Protip: The mantel and fireplace are some of the most beloved places to decorate for Christmas. I share five Christmas mantel decor items and fireplace surroundings ideas in this post here.
Most of you have at least one blanket sitting around the house, and many of you may have tons! If so, you are in luck because they make beautiful tree skirts. Yay for something FREE, am I right?!
Simply take the blanket and wrap it around the base of your tree. It’s as easy as that. You really can’t do it wrong.
This is the exact blanket I used for my tree skirt. You can also use one like this for a cozy, chunky look.
Ahhh, this is so good! I’ve always LOVED the look of big presents under trees as they have in magazines. You know, the kind that all look coordinated and prettily styled and wrapped.
The hack is to wrap empty boxes of various sizes! So start saving some boxes that are coming in to wrap and use under your tree.
For my look, I used butcher paper as wrapping paper and this solid linen red ribbon.
