A Christmas Time Tradition Revisited: Gingerbread Houses

Andy and I are hosting our annual gingerbread house decorating party this Sunday. It is one of our very favorites, and we love gifting it to our children and nieces/nephews. This was a tradition that I loved with all of my cousins and grandparents growing up.

  In this post, I share tons of fun ideas (candies we use, royal icing recipe, tips to make them last, etc.) to begin this tradition; it’s not too late to begin this year!

Beautiful And Delicious Christmas Morning Breakfast Idea: Fruit Pizza

 

Fruit Pizza

  This has been a family staple since I was a little girl! You and yours will love this yummy fruit pizza this Christmas season.   Ingredients:
  • Pillsbury Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough 16.5 oz.
  • Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 qt. Blueberries
  • 1 qt. Strawberries
  • 2-3 Rounded Kiwis
Directions:
  1. Line a round cookie pan with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. Roll out your cookie dough and create a “crust” around the edges.  Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.
  3. Let cool, then spread the frosting.
  4. Add your fruit.
Enjoy!
