Vintage Coquette Bedroom Makeover
Transforming my daughter’s bedroom into a dreamy vintage/coquette haven was so fun! She wanted a space that blends the charm of the past with a few modern twists, and I was thrilled how her vision all came together.

You may be wondering, what is vintage, coquette decor style?
Vintage coquette style for bedrooms combines nostalgic charm with playful elegance, featuring antique-inspired furniture, delicate florals, and ornate details to create a whimsical, romantic atmosphere that blends old-world glamour with modern sophistication.
Decorating in Vintage Coquette Style
Check out this beautiful tall white dresser and coordinating oak dresser. The white and marble finish plus fluted wood, set the tone for the room, giving it that vintage flair we were aiming for.
And, the gorgeous rug (shop it here) is the perfect backdrop for many of the other design elements.
The new bed, also an Amazon find here, features a gold metal frame that adds a touch of romance and whimsy to the space.

One of my favorite additions is the antique-looking mirrors. They reflect light beautifully and add an elegant touch to the room.
And did you notice the wallpaper?! Isn’t it so pretty, and it’s easy to install too because it’s peel and stick.

This gorgeous floral lamp that not only provides a warm, cozy glow but also ties in perfectly with the vintage theme.
We set it on top of one of my grandmother’s doily’s.

To make the space even cozier, we used floral, quilted bedding. The bedding, with its soft pastels and floral patterns, complements the overall aesthetic wonderfully.

A couple of unique, modern pieces added a fresh twist to the room. The curvy mirror is a fun, contemporary element that adds character and style. Updating the overhead lighting was another crucial step.
We installed these elegant plug-in wall sconces and a stunning overhead chandelier. These not only enhance the vintage vibe but also provide excellent lighting for every part of the room.
Finally, we sprinkled in a few treasured pieces from my grandmother’s collection. These heirlooms like the vase above add a personal, sentimental touch that makes the room even more special.
The result is a beautifully balanced space that perfectly captures the vintage/coquette style my daughter loves, with just the right amount of modern flair.
