My sister and I were sitting outside in North Carolina last night saying how nice it is to be outdoors in the summer evenings. The evening light lingers later and when it starts to cool down, it’s so nice to be sitting outdoors to enjoy it all. Have an outdoor room is not something you have to just wait to enjoy on a vacation but rather something you can create easily at your home!

A few days ago, I finally got inspired to get our back porch decorated and looking beautiful for summer here. It has been on the back burner for some time now, but I am so excited to have done something about it. We’ve now regained an “extra” space that was just bare before (except for our new grill we love found here!) and can enjoy sitting out here on summer nights.

I shared three smart ways to redesign an outdoor space at your home. These three ways will save you time, energy, and money, like they did for me! I walk your through what the before looked like all the way to the remarkable after! By first defining our space we wanted to makeover, then shopping our house and finally working with a budget of under $75, we are loving this new outdoor space. Come check it out here!

Leslie shared how We Found New Outdoor Patio Furniture and just look at how beautiful it is! Her new patio furniture from Arhaus (and she mentioned, it’s pronounced “Our House”) offers comfortable seating and the teak wood is all-weather. I can only imagine how their family is enjoying time outside with these pieces. Having ample and comfortable seating is the perfect combination for a patio space like Leslie’s. Not only will it be great during the summer months but the other seasons as well! I am in love with this gorgeous collection; head over to her blog to see it all for yourself.

Krista shared Our New Cozy Outdoor Living Room Tour and I’m obsessed! It just instantly has that feeling to invite people to stay awhile and relax. I love how she added these baskets to our seating area that are holding plants and towels. Multi-purpose containers are always a great idea to have on hand. Not to mention how comfortable her seating looks for people to enjoy! I could see myself sitting here many a times; go see all the details over on her blog.
