My Transparent Review of the Pottery Barn York Sofa
If you’re searching for a sofa that’s both cozy and elevated, one that feels as good as it looks, I have to tell you about the York Square Arm Grand Sofas we recently brought into our home. We went with the 95.5″ size in the Performance Bouclé Oatmeal fabric, and I can honestly say they’ve exceeded my expectations.
The seat depth is just right, not overly deep, but still super inviting. I can comfortably sit back with a book or my coffee, and my husband and son have already claimed them for weekend movie nights. It strikes that perfect balance between plush and supportive, and honestly, it’s the kind of sofa that makes you want to spend hours just lounging.
What I love most is how well these sofas fit in our open-concept living and dining room. Our previous sofas from Target were fine, but they always felt a little small under our nine-foot ceilings. Eventually, I swapped them out for some timeless Pottery Barn pillows, and I have to say… the whole room came together in such a beautiful, elevated way. Both styles worked in their own way, but the Pottery Barn pillows really brought that cozy, layered look I was going for. It’s amazing how something as simple as pillows can shift the entire feel of a room!
Coffee Table & End Table Details
Our coffee table from Pottery Barn is a piece I’ve had for years now, and I still love it just as much as the day it arrived. Coffee tables are one of those bigger investment pieces that I think are worth the splurge, they ground the whole space and get used every single day. This one has held up beautifully and works in every season and style shift.
On the flip side, side tables are one of those pieces I don’t feel the need to splurge on. The ones we have are Amazon lookalikes, and honestly? They do the job perfectly. They’re lightweight, easy to move around, and blend in seamlessly with our other pieces. It’s a great budget-friendly area to save, especially if you like to rearrange or refresh your space often!
