We LOVE these SIMPLEconnect Hunter fans! In this post, I’m sharing all the advantages of having a smart fan, how great the design is, and why Hunter has been such a great fit for us. Read about my experience with our two, amazing SIMPLEconnect Hunter fans.

In November of 2019, we remodeled what was one, large family room and turned it into a bedroom and a den. This project was part of the One Room Challenge, and you can find the series starting here. One of the items we knew that was essential to these spaces was finding fans that functioned well and had a style inline with the modern farmhouse look of our home.

The great news is that we found them with these SIMPLEconnect Hunter fans! We chose the Matte Silver Romulus HERE for our den and the Low Profile Advocate HERE for our daughter’s room. I am so excited to share with you my experience with these fans and why they are worthy of two thumbs up. Let’s go!

These Are Smart Fans

There are many reasons to love having a smart fan in your home. Smart fans can connect to your wifi and use voice command through systems such as Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Siri with Apple Homekit, plus they come with a handheld remote. The remote is our favorite part! We mounted the remote holder on our walls with velcro, and with just a press of a button, you can access the fan and light. (Plus, and I know this is kind of funny, it makes the best little tone to let you know that it’s on or off; no more checking to make sure the fan speed is slowing down! LOL) How fabulous to have all of its features accessible in the palm of your hand.

While we love the remote, if you prefer to use your virtual assistant, a simple voice command can access the fan and light. So cool!

Sleek Modern Farmhouse Design

Our home is a modern farmhouse style, and when I saw the Matte Silver Romulus and Low Profile Advocate fans, I knew they would be perfect for us. I love the Matte Silver Romulus’ painted cased white glass for the light. While it looks sleek, it has a very casual and warm feel. The Low Profile Advocate looks so good in my daughter’s room in the white finish. I love that the size of the blades is proportional and look just right in her narrow room but still provides ample air movement. They are so nice and quiet too!

If the smart features and design aren’t enough, I want to share a couple of more reasons why we chose and are so happy with our Hunter fans. Don’t you hate wobbly fans? Hunter’s fans are specifically created to be well-balanced and tested to ensure that they will not be loud or shaky! They truly are whisper-quiet. Another fantastic aspect is how dependable they’ve been. We have not had any issues with them since they’ve been installed. Speaking of installing, it was simple to install and required no extra wiring.
