Charcuterie boards are really fun to put together and there is really no wrong way to do these! Though some are more structured and formal in their food design and food itself, I chose to create this fun kid friendly one for the holidays! My hope was to offer salty and sweet snacks for all ages to enjoy at holiday get togethers. I am sharing what all I used for mine below but you can substitute it any items for others!
A wood board (I do not have a link for mine, but this one is similiar)
Strawberries
Grapes
Colby Jack Cheese Cubes
M & M’s Christmas Mint
Cheddar Goldfish Crackers
Vanilla Wafer Cookies
Holiday Marshmellows
White And Dark Chocolate & Peppermint Pretzel Crisps
Triscuit Crackers
Mini Oreos
Mini Candy Canes
After you collect these above items, place three bowls in a triangle shape on the board. Then fill those with fruit and/or candies! Next, you simply pour the various foods onto the tray. As I mentioned earlier, I wanted the food items to be placed together but not in perfect lines. Letting the foods sprinkle over onto the others is okay! Keep going until all foods have been used and the tray looks full!
The finishing touch was adding clippings of greenery to place around the edges of the board. It just brings that final holiday touch to your presentation. I will have to admit that these yummy foods were hard to resist while I was setting up this board. It will be enjoyed by all your guests whether family or friends! Are you ready to give a holiday charcuterie board a go?
