I have loved eggnog for years. Recently I attended a party where this drink was served with two extra ingredients that accentuated it’s flavor even more so. This is a deliciously easy holiday drink you should make.

Eggnog is one of my favorite drinks! Every Christmas I look forward to seeing it restocked in the grocery store and grabbing some to bring home for our family to enjoy.  Recently, my husband and I attended a small get together where it was served with two extra ingredients that accentuated it’s flavor (and looked festive) it’s flavor even more so.

My friend had used a footed trifle bowl (you can find one here), sat inside of a larger bowl filled with ice to keep it cool.  A large ladle sat inside the trifle bowl to serve the eggnog drink.  It definitely was a hit, and so I can’t wait to share with you this holiday drink you should make too.

Ingredients For An Easy Holiday Drink

• Eggnog (we used Southern Comfort)
• Tub of Cool Whip
• Ground Nutmeg

Directions For An Easy Holiday Drink

1. Pour the eggnog into the footed trifle bowl
2. Scoop the entire tub of the cool whip on top of the eggnog (it is “sitting” on top of the eggnog).
3. Sprinkle the ground nutmeg on top of the cool whip and around the dish.

That’s it; so easy, right?! I hope you will give this holiday drink a go.  It is one that not only your family will enjoy (we have some in our refrigerator currently), but as you entertain during the Christmas season.
