5 Pool Bag Essentials We Love

We love getting outside as a family during summer, especially at the pool! There are so many items that you can be tempted to take for a day by the pool, but I’ve narrowed it down to my top 5 pool bag essentials to make it easy on you.

Pool Bag

First, you need the actual pool bag! I found this lightweight, breathable bag at Target, and it easily holds all the things! My favorite features are that it can be carried as a shoulder bag or a backpack.

Plus, on the bottom is a zipper cooler pouch to hold snacks and drinks. 

Pool Towels

How cute are these towels? Every summer I get my children new pool towels and these are all so bright and fun.

Sunscreen

I think we can all agree on this is a pool bag must-have!   I still prefer the lotion over the spray because of the coverage.

Paul has jumped into it, and I’ve enjoyed cooling off in the pool with it too. 

Backpack Cooler with Tumbler

An extra cooler (especially in the hot summer months!) is always handy for a long day at the pool. And, having one that you can carry as a backpack is great for a hands-free option.

This cute stripe backpack cooler is perfect.  It’s big enough for sandwiches, water bottles, soda cans, fruit, and other snacks too.
