I fell in love with a fall wreath from Pottery Barn that retailed at $149. While it was beautiful, the price was not. I decided to try my hand at recreating a dupe! Come check out this DIY Fall wreath tutorial for a fraction of the Pottery Barn cost.
I love the look of grapevine wreaths, and of course, for Fall ones with pumpkins! I saw a beautiful fall wreath that had these elements on Pottery Barn’s website. However, even though I fell in love with the wreath, I didn’t with the price, haha. So, I thought, why not try to recreate it myself?
Off I went to JOANN to gather supplies for this DIY fall wreath. I found the grapevine wreath, garland, pumpkins, berries, and even the fairy lights all there for guess how much? $29! The great news is, if you have any of these supplies already on hand, you will spend even less. The lights were the most expensive part of the total.
I was so excited to get home and make this Pottery Barn dupe. Some hot glue, and a few minutes later, I had accomplished this DIY wreath. Are you ready to try it too?
First, I recommend pulling some of the vines loose on the wreath form. If you look at our inspiration wreath, there is a lot of “twiggy” look going on.
Second, begin by hot-gluing the pumpkins. I placed mine in similar places to where the Pottery Barn pumpkins were placed.
Third, add the faux leaves and berries. The leaves are numerous and clustered in certain areas.
Lastly, weave the twinkle lights in and around the wreath and elements you have glued onto the wreath.
That’s it, easy as 1-2-3! I loved making this DIY Fall wreath, and I hope you feel inspired to make your own too!
