My Coffee Bar Update

Coffee is something that I look forward to every morning (and that in itself is an understatement). It just starts the day off right and gets me going. Can anyone else relate? There’s definitely something cozy about sipping on something warm even when things around me are moving quickly (and at times chaotic haha!)

So, a couple of days ago I got the urge to create an expanded coffee bar in our kitchen, because well, I love all things related to coffee and knew it would be fun.

My goal was to use pieces we already had, because who doesn’t like free updates? My daughter had a small, chippy shelf in her bedroom that I knew would be great for holding coffee mugs and other fun little signs and my vintage scales collection. I wanted to set this shelf on another table, and so I decided to try out the chippy table we use in our bedroom. This pair ended up working perfectly.

Now to add all the things! First was the most important piece, the coffee maker (I love the Ninja Coffee Bar, it has a built in frother which is amazing). Next I added several of my Rae Dunn pieces including my coffee canister, sugar/creamer, and mugs. To fill in the rest of it, I added some fun signs, the vintage scales, and a tea towel.

Want a fun afternoon pick me up? Take leftover coffee from the morning pot, grab a large mason jar and fill with ice. Next, pour Italian Creme liquid creamer + coffee and stir all together with a frother! Ahhhh, delicious and sure to help re-energize you!

Creating this updated coffee bar was fun and free! Do you have a coffee bar/station? What are your favorite pieces to have on yours?
